Apply online - Membership Form Membership in the Tampa Bay IOWA Club is open to all alumni, former students and friends of the University of Iowa. The club sponsors many activities including football and basketball game watches, bowl game trips and other special events. If you have an idea for a club event, please contact Ed Peters at epeters13@aol.com. Furthermore, we donate money to the Iowa City tornado disaster, student scholarships, and the recent flood. The club is supported by member dues. Financial support from the UI Alumni Association is only in the form of mailings and door prizes for events. Your membership dues keep the club alive and allow us to sponsor our events and maintain communication with area alumni. For many years in a row, the Tampa Bay IOWA Club has sent a scholarship to the Alumni Association for an area student. (The Alumni Association matches our contribution.) This year, we were able to give $1,000 for an area rising senior. Annual dues are only $15/single; $25/couple and your support is tax deductible.
